Outreach Efforts
Through our outreach projects, God has provided for many. We have been blessed with opportunities to supply clean water to remote villages, food to Polio and amputee communities, Bibles to prisons, and medical help through clinics across Sierra Leone. Our hope is that through meeting physical needs, we are able to share the love of Christ with those in Sierra Leone.
Jungle Ministry
For many years, we have been serving in a remote jungle village called Rokbop (pronounced Roke-bob). Over the years, we have rebuilt the village church, which was originally destroyed by Muslim extremists. We have also hosted medical clinics and provided clean water, food, and Bibles to the community.
Most importantly, we share the hope of the Gospel through preaching, worship, and Vacation Bible School for the children and teens of the village.
Port Loko Prison
In 2023, the Secretary of State of Sierra Leone learned about our extensive jail and prison ministry efforts throughout the country. Because of his passion for prison reform, he invited us to serve at a maximum-security prison in the city of Port Loko.
Three times each year, we visit the prison to provide Bibles, hygiene supplies, and food for the inmates. During these visits, our team shares the Gospel through preaching, personal testimonies, prayer, and worship.
Jails/Juvenile Detention Centers
Since 2022, we have been ministering to staff and inmates in jails and juvenile detention centers throughout Sierra Leone. Through these efforts, we have witnessed the Lord transform many lives.
Inmates are now worshipping together, studying the Bible, and encouraging one another in their faith. Some have even been released early because of good behavior. Staff members have also commented on the positive and noticeable change in the overall environment within the facilities.
Kush Camps
We minister in areas commonly known as “Kush camps.” Across much of Africa and even parts of Europe, a dangerous drug known as Kush has become widespread and deeply destructive to many communities.
In Sierra Leone, many individuals struggling with addiction gather in these camps. Our mission teams visit on each mission trip to share the love and hope of Christ, encouraging people to turn away from destructive lifestyles and toward a new life in Him.
Prostitution District
Since 2024, we have been involved in street ministry outreach to women working in prostitution along a downtown area known as Lumley. In 2026, we also began ministering in another area where many women and young girls are trapped in the same lifestyle.
Some of these girls are as young as pre-teen age. Many are struggling with addiction and prostitution as a means to support their drug dependency, while others believe they have no other choice or opportunity in life. We believe there is hope for something greater.
